Developed an in vitro method for culture expanding autologous stem cells in an artificial vascular niche for the treatment of cancer patients undergoing bone marrow ablation following chemo- or radio-therapy. This technology is commercialized by Cornell University and has been described in co-authored manuscripts and research grants awarded by the NIH.
